Conformation Handling

Do you have a puppy you are trying to get ready? Do you want to polish your dog’s show behaviors to win those championships? Do you want to learn how to handle your own dog in conformation dog shows? Then this class is foryou!

This drop-in class is held weekly on Mondays at 6 pm (pre-registration is not required). It is for owners who would like to show handle their dogs or train their dogs for their handlers to go in the breed ring. It is perfect for the young dog to socialize them. It helps with all dogs that need the skill of stand for examination.

If you already have a Champion or are an Owner-Handler, it will help you polish you and your dog’s behavior to get those coveted Best of Breeds and Group placements. The ring has mirrors on one wall, so you can easily see what the judge sees. You can get one-on-one help with your dog while in a group of dogs. Learn how to hide its faults, how to properly gait your dog, and show patterns.

You pay weekly for this class. Purebred and mixed breeds are welcome.

$10 or 3 Dauphin Rewards for DDTC Members; $5 or 2 Dauphin Reward for a second dog.

$12 for Non-Members for first dog; $5 for second dog.

$5 for Junior Handlers.
